In this resource I will explain what is Windows on windows or WoW.

Windows 7 is a 64 bit Windows OS. Thus it works faster on 64 bit processor. However it has some demerits too .A 64 bit operating system does not support old softwares.

You will have to look for 64 bit version of every software to use it on a 64 bit windows. For wxample if you want to use a media player say gom player you can not use the version you used on Windows xp. Now you will have to search 64 bit version of Gom player on the internet and then you can use it after downloading. Now this is very time consuming. Is'nt it ?

Now here is a solution to this problem. Windows 64 bit edition has a feature known as WoW which allows you to use 32 bit applications on your 64 bit OS. Great feature. WoW stands for Windows on Windows. Windows vista and Windows 7 have WoW 64 with them.

1.Wow can be easily used for a large number of programs. Many people made objections that there might be a number of incompatibility problems with WoW. However with only a few exceptions WoW is doing great.

2.There are some exceptions as I stated above .Now let me explain them. The most important ones are Direct X games. So you might not be able to access 32 bit games on your 64 BIT OS.

3.WoW is really very useful as it saves your time and effort needed to download 64 bit versions of softwares for your 64 bit OS. Moreover this feature is not available on Linux and other operating
