The system start up sound in Windows 7 will be interesting to you in the begining. But over a period of time, you may feel that the system start up sound in Windows 7 irritates you. You may not like the system start up sound. Don't worry.. There is a solution to this. You can disable the system start up sound in Windows 7. Here is a way to disable system start up sound in Windows 7.

Open Control Panel by Start->Control Panel.

Now type 'sound' in the search box in the control panel and press Enter key in your keyboard.

Now you have to click on 'Change System sounds' link there.

Now you will see the Sound window. Now click on 'sound' tab in this window and uncheck the check box labelled 'Play Windows Startup Sound'. Once you restart the PC, the startup sound will be disabled. In the same way, you can enable the start up sound by selecting the same check box.
