First tip-How to fix acceleration of mouse


Here I will discuss how to fix acceleration for mouse in Windows XP.
One thing you might have noticed if you are an XP user that mouse in XP is affected by acceleration curve to a great extent.

Here is how to remove mouse acceleration from XP.

1.Go to start.
2.Now go to run and type there 'regedit' there.
3.Now go to 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER', choose control panel, then choose mouse .
4.Now chsnge the SmoothMouseXCurve and SmoothMouseYCurve hexi decimal values like this

SmoothMouseXCurve:
00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00
00,a0,00,00,00,00,00,00
00,40,01,00,00,00,00,00
00,80,02,00,00,00,00,00
00,00,05,00,00,00,00,00

SmoothMouseYCurve:
00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00

Second tip -How to automatically end up programs in Windows XP


You might have noticed that sometimes when you try to shut down your computer it asks you to end a program telling that a program is running. This might be irritating and here is how to remove it.

1.Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktop directory in the Registry.

2.Here Change the key AutoEndTasks to the value 1.

You are done.

Third tip-How to configure auto defragment



Here is how to configure auto defragment .

1.Firstly make a new Registry import file named context_defrag.inf in Notepad.

2.Write the following text in it
; context_defrag.INF
; Adds Defrag to the right click context menu in Windows XP
[version]
signature="$CHICAGO$"
[DefaultInstall]
AddReg=AddMe
[AddMe]
HKCR,"Drive\Shell\Defrag\command",,,"DEFRAG.EXE %1"

3.Now select install by making a right click.

Now you are ready to defrag devices using a command.
