This article is about how to set up internet connection firewall in Windows XP? Steps for set up internet connection firewall in Windows XP.


 


Windows XP firewall is most important for the system. Windows XP firewall stops all the public networks to accessing your system.
Windows XP firewall creates a wall in your computer. So,that any other public networks can't access your computer.
If any public network access your computer then it can stole your private data from your system. So, its better to activate the Windows XP firewall.
Now the question arises that how to set up internet connection firewall in Windows XP. How to check the firewall in Windows XP?
How to add the ip addresses to stop accessing your computer?
These are some questions how's answer sill be found below.

To check the internet connection firewall in windows XP. You have to follow these steps.

1) Click on START, then click on Control Panel, and then click on Network Connections

2) Now you can see Local Area Connection in Network Connections.

3) Right –Click the Local Area Connection and select Properties

4) Now click on Advanced Tab option. Now check the Tick on the following titled Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet

That's it your computer is now protected from the public networks.
