Windows 7 Firewall is an important part of windows. It saves your system from the outer network. Windows Firewall provides a wall for your system. So that any other network can't access your system. Accessing the system from any other network can stole the personal data from your system which can be misuse. So, it's very important to activate the windows firewall for the system.

Now the question arises how to find the windows firewall for windows 7. How to check the windows firewall in windows 7? How to add a program to communicate with the network? These are the some question how's solution will be find below.

1) To check the windows firewall in windows 7. You have to follow these steps.

Click on START, then click on Control Panel, now click on All Control Panel Items, then click on Windows Firewall option.

2) In windows 7 you can see 2 profile of windows firewall.
First one for the Home or Work networks and
Second one for Public networks.

3) Now if you want to do some changes in windows firewall notification settings. Then you have to follow these steps
Click on Control Panel, then click on All Control Panel Items, then click on Windows Firewall, then click on Customize Settings.

4) Now from here you can Turn On or Off windows firewall for separately for Home or public network.

5) If you want that some program can communicate the network then you can select particular program from the list. You can find this list from the following steps
Click on Control Panel, then click on All Control Panel Items, then click on Windows Firewall, then click on Allowed Programs.

6) If you don't find your program in the list then you can select Add a Program option to add the program in the list.

7) Once you have added the program. A window will prompt and ask for selecting the network from a windows firewall to communicate with network.
Select the appropriate network for the program.

That's its now your program is added in windows firewall to communicate with the network in windows 7.
