Why I cannot delete a file in Windows 7
Some times we cannnot delete a file in Windows 7. Even if you try to delete it, you will get a message that you cannot delete it. Let us see what is the reason why some times we cannot delete a file in Windows 7.
This is all related to permissions for the particular file. If you do not have proper permissions for the file or folder, then it is impossible to delete that file. If the file is not created by you, you cannot delete it even if that file is stored in a public shared folder. But if you want to delete such a file, the only way is that you should ask the owner of the file to delete it.
One more thing is that you cannot delete a file if it is currently open. Unless the file is closed, you cannot delete it.
