How to upgrade Window XP to the Window 7 ?

I will explain to you various steps of upgrading Window XP to the Window 7?


If you want to upgrade your PC from Windows XP to Window 7, you need to select the custom option during window installation. All you have to do is to destroy the old files of the operating system by using the custom option, the work of which is to not to preserve the programs, files or the settings of your computer.

It is easy to carry installation by using the custom option and sometimes also take a lot of time to complete and spend a couple of hours in its installation which time consuming because the file structure of window 7 is complex.

How to upgrade Windoes XP to the Window 7 ?

The following are the steps to carry out up gradation of Window XP to Window 7-

You need to increase the space of your memory and to remove the previous files of your PC before installing the Window 7 to your PC and also it is done with the help of Window easy transfer. The adding of the external hard disk is easy and doesn't take too much time.

You must have original CD which consists of the Window 7 setup for the installation of the Window 7 into your PC and firstly copied the files from the CD to your computer. Also Windows easy transfer list the files we were previously using in Window XP.

How to upgrade Windoes XP to the Window 7 ?

The Window 7 offers both32 as well as 64 bit installation CD package, as 32 bit consists of small bit transfer rate as compare to the 64 bit and 64 bit is used for handling large amount of the data such that the capacity of RAM ( Random Access memory ) should be between the 3-4 GB and more efficient and fast in comparison to 32 bit operating system.

Now click on the start button then Right click on the my computer then click on the properties and then see from the dialog box whether there is 64 bit there or not?

You'll probably need the 32-bit version, but to make sure, click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties. And then under properties option you will come to know that whether you are using 32 bit Window XP or using 64 bit, if using 64 then you can use o upgrade the same in the Window 7.
