Check your Internet Connection

If some of the ActiveX is the cause the internet connection speed then disable it and use it when it is required.

Rarely Internet Explorer settings that are modified may cause the slow internet connection. You may need to reset the settings to default settings. Some of the reset settings may remove the settings that are required for a website. Resetting settings will reset the pop up blocker, text settings, Feed settings, fonts and other customized settings will be set to default.

Delete all the temporary files, cookies and other Personal settings will improve the performance and will increase the disk space of the system.

Other Factors that affects Internet Connection


Internet Explorer requires some memory, processor and disk space to work. Delete the Temporary internet files, browsing history and other items, Even if you cleared all those files that may be in Memory will occupy unnecessary memory. So once you deleted all the temporary files and other changes, close the browser and wait for few seconds and open a new browser will clear all the memory occupied by the previous browser. If you viewed an online streaming audio/video then close it once that is finished will release the cache memory.
