I will explain to you the various steps required to add printer manually in the computer system?
How to add the printer manually in the window 7 ?
In case you have purchased a new printer and you cannot able to detect it into your window and cannot able to use it.
Then follow these steps to find and add the printer manually-
* Click on the
start button
and then on the
control panel
and click on the
devices and printers
and then
open devices and printers
.
* Then add a printer in the
Add printer wizard
and select Add a
network, wireless or Blue tooth printer.
* The select the printer you want to listed in your computer by clicking on that printer tab provided on the dialog box.
* On the
printer finder page
using
TCP/IP address page
, choose the location and other parameters of the printer according to your requirement and then click on the
Next button.
* Follow the steps by using next and complete the necessary information required during registration and at last click on the
finish button.
If you have manually added the printer in the window 7 then also some sort of problems may occurs.
The various steps to remove such problems are following-
* Check to see whether the networks are working properly and make sure all computers are connected in a
work group
by changing their names on
windows 7 based computers.
* Then enter the
name and location
of the other computer where you want to connect your printer, if not able to provide with name and location then contact the person who have installed your printer and also
contact your administrator
as it will not provide you with the privilege level whether private, public or protected and send it the request to provide the
network domain
to connect the printers.
* Also checked the printer whether it is on and providing the services to the other computers in the network and also note down its name and location provided by you by administrator for future use.
