How to Get the Full directory Path Details of File& folder in Vista and Windows 7

In windows Vista and Windows 7 you cannot find the full path directory details of a file and folder. In windows XP you can find the full path details easily. Read this Article to know about getting the Full path of a file and folder in vista and windows 7.

The user Interface has been changed in Windows vista and Windows 7.Because of these changes made by Microsoft, many windows XP users have difficulty to use Vista and Windows 7.
One of change is that you cannot find Folder path directly in the windows Explore in vista and Windows 7.

Use following Methods to Get Full path :

Method 1:

In the folder, Right click the Address bar and copy the folder path
By the options like 1.Copy Address, 2.Copy Address as Text, 3.Edit Address.

Using copy address you can copy the full path to clipboard.

Using Copy Address as text is used to Copy and paste in the Text Editor

Using Edit Address, you can edit the address path in the Address bar itself.

Method 2:

In the folder, if you want the full path of one file means, Hold down the Shift Key and Right click on the specific file. In the Right click menu, you can get an option 'Copy as a path'.(see the image)
