How to connect multiple monitors to your windows 7 computer

Do you want to connect more than one monitor to your windows 7 computer? It is possible to connect more than one monitor to your windows 7 computer. You can connect upto 6 or even more monitors to your computer if you use one correct hardware. Let us see the different ways in which we can connect more than one monitor to your windows 7 computer.

  • VGA Splitters: One method to connect multiple monitors to your windows 7 computer is using a VGA splitter. This is a hardware device which takes one VGA input and converts into two or more outputs. The only disadvantage of the VGA splitter is that the output quality may not be that much good and it becomes worse if the cable length is too much.

  • Dual port video cards: A Dual video card has two VGA outputs so you can connect two monitors to this card. An example for this is a training room where a PC has a regular monitor and also connected to a wide screen display which displays what ever is there on the monitor. The video card that supports dual monitors does not cost much, it is cheap.
