This article tells how to boot default Windows Operating System when there are dual OS in your system.Both should be Windows OS
Boot your default OS
Some people make use of dual operating systems for their own use and some people make use single OS. When you startup your PC it will ask you as to which installation to continue with if you have dual OS.
Sometimes you may forget or you may not notice which OS to start with and in this case your PC will select the first OS which is displayed in the screen.
If the selected OS is not the one you desired then you may restart your PC to boot with the other OS.
To avoid this you can tell your PC which is your default OS to boot into.
Here is the way to tell your PC about your default OS.
Step1: Click on
Start
Menu -->
Right Click on Computer
--> Select
Properties
as displayed in the below picture.
Step2: Click on
Advanced System Settings
on the left pane.
Step3: Select
Advanced
tab and click on
Settings button
under
Startup and Recovery Panel
. After clicking this
Startup and Recovery dialog box will appear
.
Step4: Under
System Startup Panel
the Operating system available in your PC will be listed in
Default Operating System
. select your
default Operating Systems
from the drop down menu, even you can change the OS booting time by changing the default 30 seconds to 10 or 5 or 0 seconds to boot immediately and click
'OK'
.
Your default Operating System will be booted when you startup your PC next time.
