How to Rename a file?

There are two ways of renaming a files and arranging it in the window 7. it will explain both the ways of renaming a file, follow the following steps for renaming the file.

First step-

* Then right click on the file of which name you want to change.

* Select the appropriate name that you will want to give to that file.

* Click on the Rename option provided on the pop up menu which is displayed to you when you will make a right click on the file.

* Enter the desired name to want to give to your file and press enter and then it will display you the file with the new name.

How to rename a file on window 7 ?

Second step-

* Open the document to which you want to rename and then enter the data in the document according to your choice.

* Click on the menu bar provided at the top of the window and then a lot options are displayed to you, click on the save option for giving name to the file.

* Then allow the path where you want to store that file and click ok button and you will find the new name of the file.

* One more thing is that if you want to create the duplicate file with the new name to provide back up to that file then also you can make a change in the name by clicking on the save as button on the menu bar and type the name and set path for the file and click ok and name is changed successfully.
