Shut down computer from desktop.

This resource will help you to crate a shortcut key for shutdown,log off, reboot and standby from desktop.

Okay!! Do you really want to know?? Now listen its very interesting stuff to do.

Step-1

Right click your mouse button, and then a menu is opened. From there select New then click on shortcut.

Step-2

After clicking shortcut, a "create shortcut" wizard pops up. Where it asks you to type the location of the item. So, you type 'shutdown- s- t 00'

Step-3

Then a page displayed "type a name for this shortcut". Type a name, stup

Shutdown will be suitable in this case because you don't get confused with fashionable names . As soon as you mention the name, click the finish button.
Not shut down is the only shortcut you can do but you can also create shortcut for Log off, Reboot, and Standby the same way. The only thing you have to do is in "type the location of the item" you write:
log

Log off- shutdown- l- t 00
ree

Reboot- shutdown –r –t 00
Standby

Standby- %windir%\system32\rundll32.exepowrprof.dll,SetSuspendSet

Now its easy to shutdown and other function like log off, standby and reboot.
