This article is about the manual installation of Service Pack 3 on Windows XP Operating System.


Most of the users are using Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2). All of the users need to install the service pack 3 on their system but don't have CD to install.
Even don't know how to install Service Pack 3 on your system without CD.

Windows XP Service Pack 3 is the upgrade of Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP 2).
It have the extra features that Windows XP SP 2 don't have.

Follow the steps to install manually Service Pack 3



1) Download the Service Pack 3 from the following website.
It is free to download and no hidden charges apply.

Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)

2) Now Double Click on the downloaded Service Pack 3 installer.

3) Click on Next to start installing.

4) Now Click on Yes to Accept. By clicking on this button you will be eligible for the accepting the terms and conditions of Service Pack 3.
It is mandatory option. Then click Next.

5) Click NEXT to copy the files on your system.

6) Now Service Pack 3 starts installing the files on your computer.

6) Last click the Finish button to finish the installation.

7) Now Restart your computer.

Now your computer is ready with the Service Pack 3.

the licence says that its going to collect our information via internet and install programs when required, i have kept my automatic updates OFF

do you think SP3 can increase my internet usage just by doing this stuff in the background secretly because of which my internet charges also may increase
i mean can it do too much automatic web browsing in the background like 3 MB per 10 mins
if it does little browsing in KBs then i dont have any problems
