This article explains how to transfer the photos from your digital camera to your windows 7 computer.

How to transfer photos from your digital camera to your windows 7 computer


Once you take photos with your digital camera, you will need to transfer them to your computer in order to see the photos or take a print out etc. Here I will explain how to transfer the photos to your computer.
  • You should connect the camera to the computer using the USB cable. Then you turn on the camera
  • Now an autoplay window appears that will walk you through the process of importing the photos
  • Now you have to click on 'Import pictures and videos' in the autoplay dialog box.
  • You can tag the pictures. Tags are descriptive words that you can add to the photos so that you can find them later on easily. type a tag name in the 'Tag these pictures' box. the folder name includes the date of import and the tag name
  • Now click on 'Import'

    • A new windows opens up and shows the pictures that are imported.
