This article discusses the method to access any folder or file without going through the Start button from the Windows 7 Taskbar itself.
Way to access a folder or file from Windows 7 Task bar
Normally we access a file or folder by going to the Start button, then going to Computer and then selecting the correct drive and the folder. But there is a simple way to directly access a folder or file directly from the Windows 7 Task bar without going through the Start menu. Let us see how to do it.
Right click on the task bar
Now select Toolbars-->New Toolbar
Now a window will appear "New Tool Bar Choose a folder", select the folder that you want to open directly or select Computer and then click on 'Select Folder' Button.
Now you will see a new tool bar 'Computer' or 'folder name' from which you can access the file in that folder. Let us see the screen shots given below.
