How to find the current internet speed? There are lot of websites offering the solution. one of the first and best known to me is Speed test.net

www.speedtest.net

Just enter the website name in the Address bar(URL-Universal resource locator of your browser), this opens the website then just click on the begin test, right in the middle of the screen.

It shows how much time it takes to Ping, then what is your download speed,and uploading speed. all these details

Also gives you a rough idea on how much time it will take to download an mp3 file and a full length movie video.

This is one of the handy website to check the current internet speed at any given time.
