What are computer viruses

To consider an executable code a virus, it must fulfill one criteria, it should spread by means of a host. Viruses are programs that hamper the efficiency or performance of your computer. They are transferred from one computer to another by use of pen drives or a computer may get infected with viruses from the Internet.

Difference between Viruses and Worms

There is a little difference between virus and a worm. A worm may spread from one computer to another without needing to be transferred as a host.

What are Trojans

Unlike viruses and worms Trojans are not capable of spreading by their own. The word Trojan came from the famous myth of Trojan horse. Trojan refers to a malicious program that is made to appear as a genuine program.

How to prevent your computers from viruses

These days a number of software is available to prevent your computer from viruses. Always use updated antivirus on your computer .Do not use internet without having antivirus.
