Hidden features in Windows XP

This article reveals hidden features of Windows XP that comes in-built with the OS.

MS-DOS Editor
Windows XP offers an additional editor in addition to Notepad – MS-DOS Editor.
Find: Go to Start>>Run and Type edit and press Enter.
Features: change background and text colors, work with multiple text files. Being a DOS application, it can be configured to work like a windows application.

NetMeeting Conference
Built-in instant messaging with conferencing features
Find: Go to Start>>Run and Type conf and press Enter.
Features: participate in meetings, share desktop, work in shared programs, whiteboard, text chat, multi-point data conferences, point-to-point video and audio, and data transfer over the internet or corporate intranet.

Windows Chat
Windows Chat allows you to chat people on same network or LAN
Find: Go to Start>>Run and Type winchat and press Enter.

10X Zoom in Paint
Maximum zoom magnifier available with Paint is 8X. Zoom to 10X using this hidden feature
How: Open an image and select the magnifier. Left-Click exactly on the line below the 8x.
