I had gone through this instruction for cheque book request. In the E-services option, there are no options available in the standing instruction at all. When I called on customer care, they also advised me the same procedure, but it really didn't work. I have tried several times. No one lifts the call also in the branch. Am helpless in getting the cheque book. This is ridiculous!

I tried to apply for a check book through SBI online. When I selected Debit account radio button, then automatically bearer option is selected so then I submitted. However, a error is occurred, with the message on the screen stating "CHECK BOOK NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS ACCOUNT". What to do now? Please guide me for getting a check book. Note that I do not have a checkbook and this is my first application for a checkbook.
