Storyline

The story of Final Fantasy VI is set in the time of a thousand years post the destructive "War of the Magi," had taken place. As a consequence there is no more magic left in the planet. Rather everything was taken over by the steam punk and their accompanists. The people of that era who were used to use their magic had to let go of it and remember the glory of the past, wherein after a while they get to realize that a faintly drawn line of magic is trickling down from somewhere unknown. This left the Emperor on quandary and finally he sends out his people to a search for the origin of this ancient magical power.

All these finally results in War, and as time goes on the conflict keeps rising more and more till the day when the apocalypse gets crashing down on the earth, turning every water surface poisonous, leaving all the animals dead.

Once you get involved with the epicurean story of Final Fantasy VI its cast will not let you get distracted even for a moment. Though the game has no central character, each of the warriors will showcase a skill that is unique in nature. Like the one who uses "Blitzes," is Sabin the monk. In another instance, there will be a chain of attacks with tremendous power which you will eventually draw upon you using those d-pad swivels. Doesn't it sound like our Street Fighter games? Then you meet Edgar, his twin brother, who is an engineer inventing solutions that can blind the opponent troupe or can shower innumerous arrows at a time on them. In this story Relm appears as a young girl who can divert the bad guys' powers against themselves, while Gau as a feral child keeps an eye on the enemy observing and learning about the strength and weaknesses of the enemy.

Final Fantasy VI has all its game strategy, background setting, and player skills in place. But there is even something more to get from this retro RPG cum mobile game. And that is its highly customized system of magic-learning, which is an invaluable gift from the Square Enix house.

Wrap-Up

This time Final Fantasy VI has replaced its original RPG Game launched in 1994 with some upgraded graphics.
