Top 10 cheap and best Xbox 360 games

Looking for the best Xbox 360 games at affordable price range? Well, you are in the right place. Let's did in deep and find out some games that give you best bang for their buck.

It's pretty evident that Xbox 360 is more loved than any their console in India. We are a fan of this little piece of hardware that has provided us with so many rare gems that can't be played or fund anywhere else. For starters, games like Gears of War and Halo series are Microsoft's own property and can only be played on their console. So, if you are looking to get your hands on them, you need to have an Xbox console first.
Without any further ado, let's dig in deep and find out some cheap and best games to play on Xbox 360.

Metro Last Light

Although THQ, the gaming behemoth, is bankrupt now, they created a gem while they went out of business. Metro Last Light is an atmospheric, wicked and sadistic tale of a city struck by a catastrophic event that has made living on the ground almost impossible. Everyone on the earth has dies except those who were underground travelling on Metros. Only they are alive and now they will have to overcome the odds and go hand to and with mutants, zombies and what not.

It's available for real cheap and best bang for your buck at this moment. We might never get to see a Metro game again as the original publisher is gone for good now.

Draksiders 2

It's an irony that he top 2 best games in this list are from THQ. This is a testimony to the fact that they were one of the best developers out there. Darksiders 2 is a hack-n-slash game built in an imaginative figment of a world where you are the hero and have to save the citizens from the wrath of inhabitants of hell.

Alan Wake

You are weak, have nothing except a flashlight and a zombie apocalypse has struck. Well, this is the last thing you'd ever think, but apparently, this is the case for Alan. He trembles, fumbles and often times, shudders as he approaches his way outta city. You are the one who will decide his fate. It's a must-play game for any horror fan. Moreover, it's available on PC as well. They have just released it on our beloved platform. Kudos to the team for doing that and not forgetting us.

Assassins Creed series

I have not cited any specific game here as all of them are unequivocally awesome. Moreover, you need to play them all to get the hang of the subtle story of Desmond. You are Desmond, a normal guy living in 21st century and you have been captured by a team of scientist. They suspect that you were an assassin back in early 18th century. So they set up a device and send you back there. While your body is still in the present, you memory goes back to the past and you take the control of merciless assassins throughout the whole series.

It's pretty difficult to define exactly how and what happens in the game as it's quite subtle and you need to play them all to get the hang off it.

The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

If you haven't played this game, you have not seen a large part of what makes for a brilliant, award-winning open-world RPG. You haven't experienced what millions of others already have. It's a critically acclaimed open-world RPG developed by folks at Bethesda.

I can easily say that it's one of the best open-world RPGs to this date. Travelling by foot from one end of the map to another will easily take more than 30 minutes which should give you enough evidence of its vastness and the huge scope this game has amassed.

Battlefield 3

I have not said anything about Battlefield 4 as it's not a cheap game by any means. It has just been launched here in India and will cost you more than INR 3,000. So, your best bet should be Battlefield 3, a game which was released back in 2011 and set the benchmark for first person shooters. You can get this game for as low as INR 1,000 on Xbox stores across the country.

Bioshock series

The Bisohock series includes three games Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and the latest one, Bioshock Inifine. The first one explored the world beneath the waters while the second one went down below the earth. The third one was most impressive of them all. The developers built the Columbia city up above on clouds for Bioshock Infinite. In other words, you get the complete package exploring the surroundings of earth. This series is a beast!

Borderlands 2

Borderlands series is best known for its rowdy style of gameplay and truckload of weapons you can choose and play. Each and every weapon is unique and badass to say the least. You can unlock best weapons as you progress through which keeps you engaged on the hunt. The more you level up, the easier it gets to boss around. The only issue this game has is that they tend to respawn pretty quickly once you have killed them.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

How can one forget about this revolutionary FPS that changed the fate of first person shooters? Before this game came out, we used to get the same old World War 2 settings with grumpy generals ordering you to follow them. But this game changed everything. The new modern ear setting hit it off really well wth the masses and this game went on to sell millions. A must-play game for any FPS fan.

Cyrsis series

Crysis series is best played on PC, but don't get me wrong here. While PC is undoubtedly king of FPS genre, Xbxox still packs a few solid punches with its share of exclusive games like Gears of War and Halo. Furthermore, Crysis series sold better on consoles hand on PCs making the console platform more lucrative for developers. It's available on Xbox Live for quite cheap at the time of writing.

Conclusion

Time to wrap it up. While you can get most of the games for under INR 2,000, it's nowhere near cheap by Indian standards. But it's one of the things you have to put with as an Indian gamer. If you want to have some great time playing AAA games, you need to shell out some cash pretty fast. It gets pretty tempting to pirate a game instead of buying it, but I don't recommend doing this as it deprives you of any online experience you will get. Mutiplayer, which is one of the main components of the game, is left out when you do so. Moreover, it hurts the developers of games who put their time and effort into crafting such amazing immersive worlds. Developing games is an arduous task and you should pay to enjoy the art.
