Toshiba unveils new Z30 ultrabook that runs on Windows 8.1 and powered up by Intel's Haswell processor. This post covers specifications, price and features of this Toshiba ultrabook.

Microsoft's latest Windows version 8.1 is going to release this month and it brings myriad of on based products with it. Specifications and features


Up to now the "business class laptops" term was being used for the bulkier computing machines placed in offices but now the high profile sleek ultrabooks have changed the user' opinion about them. And Portege Z30 ultrabook is the perfect example for the same. It is a light weight portable computer with just 2.6 pounds and 0.7 inches thick chassis. It means a user can carry it to his office or move outside on his shoulder easily. They can work for hours keeping the device in their lap very comfortably. Its external chassis is made up of grey magnesium alloy.

With comfortable typing keys, its spill-resistant keyboard has a bright trackpad giving smooth touch feel to your palm. In dark room, the trackpad glows electric blue hence adding somewhat more to your working environment.

The device features a 13.3 inch display with 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution screen. Toshiba offers multiple choices for its customers while configuring Z30 ultrabook. A buyer may opt any of ultra-low voltage Haswell i3, i5 to i7 processing unit. About graphics, the device comes packed with an Intel 4400 Graphical user interface. It is loaded with up to 8GB of DDR3L RAM and up to 256GB of SSD storage.

Though the price of Toshiba Portege Z30 is higher than many other portable laptops available in market but its specifications and newest touch interface operating system puts an irresistible appeal before customers. Other than Z30, the company also announced one highly expensive mobile work station - Tecra W50, which features 15.6 inch display and haswell Core i7 processor. But the R30 notebook is the nearest companion of S30 that comes with full-voltage Haswell processing unit. And the arrival date of all Toshiba laptops is due in October or the November, this year.
