What is Aadhar Card
Aadhar Card is an unique identification card that gives access to all kinds of transactions in banking, ration, etc. It has a 12 digit Unique Identification Number (UIDN) that stores biometric, demographic and other details of the card holder. The card tells the user's name, address, gender, date of birth, phone number, email address and is an acceptable proof of identity for buying a new SIM Card, opening bank account, etc. Indian Government had started the concept of Aadhar Card to provide identification to every individual and thereby maintain his record in government books & minimize frauds. As per the new rule, every Indian citizen is required to have an aadhar card and this card must be linked to his/her bank account and gas agency (Bharat Gas, Indane & HP Gas). It was found that 30% of upper class people didn't pay taxes properly. Every economic transaction will now be under the eyes of income tax department. The Aadhar Card concept can ease the administrative work of government and help concentrate on the loopholes.

The market price of cooking gas is around Rs.1000 per cylinder. Currently, households are entitled to get nine cylinders in a year, each at a discounted price of Rs.450.
