Lenovo IdeaTab A2109


Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 has officially been announced at IFA 2012. The IdeaTab A2109 Tablet is an amalgam of high-end processing power, user-friendly controls, universal affordability and pocket size tablet PC. The A2109 seems to be fit nicely in that gap between mid-range and high-end tablets. The IdeaTab A2109 is able to handle tons of great games. The IdeaTab product provides an option for everyone who wants to keep all of their favorite books, songs and movies at their fingertips, no matter where they go.

IdeaTab A2109 has a 9-inch LED touch screen with a 1280x800-pixel resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Platform. IdeaTab A2109 looks chubby in size (10mm) and feels bloated with its weight (570g). This Tablet can also be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Platform.

The tablet is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor which boosts both speed and processing power and includes 1GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 16GB with a microSD card slot for apps and files.

IdeaTab A2109 comes with wireless 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, which lets you access the Internet from any Wi-Fi hotspot or from your home wireless network. Bluetooth 3.0 has capabilities to easily link with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as a mobile phone or MP3 player.

The tablet includes 1.3MP front facing camera for video chat and 3MP rear facing camera, which should be useful for snapping photos of notes and built-in 2 stereo speakers with SRS TruMedia Sound technology, 3.5mm headset jack, an integrated dual microphone, a battery with up to 8 hours of browsing over Wi-Fi and G-Sensor for automatic adjustment between portrait and landscape orientations.

The tablet offers orientation lock switch, microUSB port, and microHDMI port so users can connect the tablet to a big screen with a Micro HDMI connection.

The tablet is stuffed full of bloatware consisting of apps like AccuWeather, Amazon Kindle, Cut The Rope HD, Doc To Go, ES File Explorer, GameTanium, PokeTalk, News Republic, Norton Security, ooVoo, SugarSync, and Zinio.

The price of this tab is $299.
