I joined IAF on September 26,1960 as a combatant clerk. I passed out in June 1961 standing first in my trade. While in employment, I continued my studies graduated from Punjab University in 1966 with subjects of English, Economics and Political Science. I got selected as an Education Instructor in the IAF in 1969 and was trained in teaching methods at the IAF training centre at Belgaum, Karnataka. After training, I was posted at Gauhati for two and half years from 1970-73. Here I joined regular evening/night B.Lib.Sc. course of Gauhati University and stood first in the university in the B.Lib.Sc. exam in 1973. I also got a Diploma in Russian Language from School of Foreign Languages, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, while I was posted in Delhi. While serving in the IAF was commended by the AOC-in-C Western Air Command and also by the Chief of the Air Staff for my dedicated services as Education Instructor. I voluntarily retired from IAF on 1.10.1981 after 21 years of service. I joined the Reserve Bank of India at Hyderabad in 1982 as Coin Note Examiner. I became Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers after passing the CAIIB exams (both parts)consisting of 11 papers. I retired from the RBI on 1.4.2003 on completion of 60 years of age. I am the honorary President of Holy Mary High School, Ferozguda, Hyderabad since the inception of this school in 1988. I started learning the use of computer applications at my own from 1995 onwards. I attained competence in MS Office, especially the MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel. Being actively engaged in the school activities, I made hundreds of educational games in MS PowerPoint for school kids. So far, I have uploaded 327 videos on YouTube mainly pertaining to children's education under the channel name sukhdevsingh852.

I have a competency in English writing skills with a fair knowledge of English Grammar. I voluntarily teach English to class X students in the school which I administer. I also regularly contribute resources covering a variety of subjects on India's No. 1 educational website www.Indiastudychannel.com. I joined www.Indiastudychannel website on January 15, 2011. Within a month of joining the website I was appointed as an editor of the Forums Section of this website and was later promoted to the position of Lead Editor. On this website, I was selected for the Member of the Week, Member of the Week, Member of the Year and Wizards of the Forums Section within a period of one year. I regularly participate in the Group Discussion and Keyword Resource Article contests conducted by indiastudychannel. During the period of 2 years on this website, I have been declared winner 15 times in the Group Discussion Contests and 18 times in the Resource articles contests. I have become a Platinum level member at indiastudychannel.com in less than two years of joining the website. I am presently ranked No.10 on this website. I am also recipient of Proficient Writer's badge from India Study Channel.
