Hi Sovit,
Nothing in the world is error free. There are defects of one or the other sort in each and every product. The defect comes up only when the requirement for a particular thing that is missing shows up.
Same is the case with Windows 7. What seems to be useful to you might turn out to be a defect for me. So, if it is a generic question that "Is Windows 7 error free", then my answer would be NO.
If you ask about a specific area or concept in the OS and then ask if it is error free or not then we can come up with the pros and cons of it.
Regards,
Shivani

Hi,
There is no operating system with error less. Same thing with Windows 7 also. Windows 7 contains errors. No one can say that it is error free. There are many files from which windows 7 is prepared. If any error occurs in those files then i will show error. So its impossible that there is no error.
Thanks & Regards,
Prashant Sultania

hi,
Windows 7 has is the error less operating system compared to prior Version of windows operating system such as windows Vista. Many Vista errors are fixed by service pack version sp1 and sp2.Microsoft said about windows 7 service pack one that it has not major update and fixes some bugs only.So you can understand that Windows 7 has less errors. However who knows about the future problems of windows 7.

Hi,
Windows 7 is good and user friendly and so many features to enjoy compared to previous windows operating system.
It is also having issues but compared to previous version of Windows this is quite good. Compared to Vista Windows 7 is quite good in all aspects.
Windows 7 is having glossy look and fine shortcuts. Still major issues are not popped up in windows 7. We will see one we use it more in the company environment than the home users, As a software developer you will see the bugs when it given to the software companies, many of the software companies still using XP or Vista.
