Hello Brajamohan,

Yes you can do. When you add two processors it allows you to do more things at once that will be multi-tasking as compared to than a with a single processor of the same speed. In case you want to listen to music, write a word document, check e-mail, and other daily tasks . Like that a dual processor system would help you because 1 processor can take care of the music and word document while the other processor can take care of your internet browsing and your e-mail.

Best of luck
PAMELA

hello,

Yes, off course in the distributed operating system, we can use two processors working in parallel mode such that each processor will provide the resources to the other and they are constructed in such a way that one users the shared memory and shared clock and the other uses the separate memory for the processor and also separate clock.

The advantage of doing this is that the work load of computer is divided into modules and which reduces the load on the devices used in the computer and also increases the speed of executing the various operations and and the data bit rate in these processors is also very high and this processor require complex configuration as it is difficult to manage each resource
with two processors.

hi,

This is an interesting question. There are options for adding two processors to your motherboard. But there are no options in the market but you should only try it on your own. With the guidance of some hardware experts and the motherboard experts you can do the same.

But do you know the fact. Actually there are two processors in general in a computer motherboard. If you have a look at the motherboard internally there will be a heat sink in the middle of the mother board. Below that heat sink one particular processor will be present. This processor is the inbuilt processor in the motherboard which shares the minimum process of the processor.

Another point is that, you would have heard the core 2 duo processor, this actually means that 2 processors are inbuilt together. Intel company and the other company has brought this idea only into existence in the form of multiple processors in the same processor. This is already in existence in the market.

In the previous stages the Processors were not inserted manually in the motherboard. In the initial stages when you see the motherboard you can see the processors inbuilt in the motherboard itself.

SO the final answer to your question is that there are options for adding multiple processor in one motherboard but the point is that you should only re design the motherboard on your own. The drawbacks is that you will not get the perfection like the Intel company motherboard.

Thanks & Regards
