How to create password protection disc?

    Hi,

There are two ways that you can create a protected disk.

One is to create a compressed folder or Zip folder and then protect the folder or zip(compressed file) file with password and then write it to CD/DVD.

Use the compressed folder technique by Microsoft

The second method is use some software which will encrypt the files and folder and then you can write it to the disc. The software that is used to encrypt with password might be costly

Check the below link for the encryption software's

    hi ,

You can protect your discs by following these methods.

    Method 1:

First, using Windows, you could place all of your files in a compressed Zip folder, then password protect it.

If you want to hide the file names (not just Protecting the Files using passwords), you should have to place the compressed Zip(or other formats) folder inside another compressed folder with a password.

    Method 2:

Another Method is to use an encryption software that will encrypt all of the files you transfer to the CD/DVD.

Some will require you to encrypt each individual file prior to transfer, but depending on your CD/DVD burner and software (you didn't mention what you use), some software will let you just drag the file to the CD/DVD and automatically encrypt it with the rest.

    Method 3:

The best method To protect your discs, is to place the CDs in either a hidden location or a small safe.so that you can easily protect the discs safely without any risk.
