Microsoft doesn't support a direct upgrade path to Windows 7 from Windows XP.

    Hello members,

Microsoft doesn't support a direct upgrade path to Windows 7 from Windows XP.
    Did you know about it.
Yes, if you upgrade from xp to 7 then all your data will be trashed. Non of your software will work as it will relocate to "old.windows" folder in your root directory.

I read this from somewhere thought to share the valuable information.
