Thanks a lot Hafeez Bhai for this exemplary award. This is the first time I have been able to win this prestigious award from TEC.
It would not have been possible without the active co-operation from my fellow members and the team. Thanks a lot once again.

That's very right to say Timmappa bro. Without the healthy and tough competition from our fellow members we would not been able to achieve such kind of awards. That's what I mentioned above the tough competition from my fellow members including you encourages me to post more and more content ton TEC. So keep contributing and best of luck to other members for the future awards.

    Deepak bro,
There is a mistake in your above response in this thread. You mentioned "Congratulations Timmappa Kamat for his achievement", I guess here "his" is not a proper word to use. It is correct to use but as you are congratulating someone so you should use "this" at the place of "his". I hope you will edit your response soon so as to make the correct change.

    Regards,
    Aman

"His" would not be a wrong usage. Only thing is he is forgetting the usage of punctuations and some words. Correct sentence would have been " Congratulations to Timmappa Kamat for his achievement. Usage of either His or This would not be a mistake- both are correct.
    Live....and Let Live!

That's what I mentioned in my above response bro. That the use of "his" is not wrong but if you use "this" in the place of "his" then it would be better. Its also right to say that "Congratulations to Timmappa Kamat for his achievement" but then he missed to write "to'' there.
    Regards,
    Aman

And sorry to mention that you have the habit of using "than" in place of "then". Please correct this.

  • #20916
I guess its not a habit bro. But thanks for highlighting the mistake. I will edit my response soon and will make the correct change.

My hearty congratulations to Timmappa Kamat for his first ever Member of the Week award. Indeed it is the first award of a certain type which is cherished more than later similar awards. It does feel good! I don't think it will surprise anybody if you win more such member of the week awards. Wishing you do for sure!

[Sorry for the very late congratulatory wishes as I was busy with other work]

    Regards,
    Vandana

I would like to make a request here to members: Kindly do not correct somebody's English in such forum threads. It spoils the glow of a winning thread. Why not point out English errors if any through a direct message to the member instead of taking the entire thread off-track? This is not a thread to improve English after all.

In any announcement thread of winners, let them bask in the glory of having won instead of diverting to other minor issues.

    Regards,
    Vandana

Thank you Vandana a lot for your encouragement. Truly said, even I have won a few super contributor awards since the first month of my relation with TEC, the MOW or MOM awards have their own aura.
Thanks a lot for the congratulatory message.
