What is your opinion about Microsoft Surface and Google Nexus 7?

    Hello friends,

Recently I learn that two tablet PCs have been launched by Microsoft and Google, viz., Surface Tablet PC and Nexus 7 Tablet respectively. Did anybody in Techulator had any chance to use or review these products? If so, please share your esteemed opinions here in this forum thread.

    Thank you.

The main difference is Microsoft surface runs on Windows 8 RT (tablet version of Windows 8 OS) while the nexus 7 from google runs android. Windows 8 is attractive and fluid which looks cool and performs smoothly. But windows app store lags behind google play store. The apps for windows 8 are very less as compared to that of android. Microsoft surface can't run full desktop applications. Thus according to me, you will find nexus 7 more useful than microsoft surface.

    Hello Lakshmi mam,

Actually both products are good because they both are launched by the software major of the world. Surface tablet is the entry of Microsoft in to hardware market(Considering success of apple)and they will power this tablet with Windows 8.

On other hand goggle dream project google nexus is coming in market. Since google has a very good integration between its products like google mail, google+ etc. This much apps will definitely attract crowds towards itself.

So it is just a matter of choice, whosoever comfortable with any of these software makers can go with any of these devices.
