    @Fayaz, as Windows 8 is recently launched system, so it will take some time for developers to create and deploy new applications for Windows 8.

    Now windows phone 8 operating system more popular than older version. Window 8 phones are high cost. Due to this it will attract only high class users. But android start from 5000 to 40000. So any one can use this. So mobile developers attract Android. And android is a free operating system. But windows is not. So windows app is less than that of android operating system.

    I think now windows 8 OS is widely used. Most of the companies were introducing their new products like laptop, phones, tablets, etc... which supports the windows 8 OS. Hope more windows 8 apps will release in future.
