I want to know from which source I can buy a Domain name for the blog in cheapest price. I have seen some websites like GoDaddy.com . I want to confirm from all of you that there is any other trusted source which will provide me a Domain name on cheaper rates.

One more question regarding this- If I will buy domain name for 2 years then if I have to continue then what is the procedure? If you want to continue with your domain after the registration period then you will be notified by the domain registrar during the last month to renew your registration. Even after you registration period ends, you get a grace period of 60 days during which you can buy it again for a little higher price than you could have got if you register it during the last month. Nobody can take your domain during the period it is registered under your name and even after 60 days of registration expiration nobody else can register it. However, if you register a domain name with a purpose to wrongly represent a company, for example domain names with Windows or Microsoft in it and you make a site to look like as if your site is official site of Microsoft then you can lose your domain even during the registered period. So choose a domain name carefully so that no one is able to make claims on it.

Hi Ravneet, If you having google account you may get alerts that many domains coming for cheap and even free of cost. You can pick those opportunities. And for 2 years you using your domain means, in that 2 years period your website wont be in for sales. When you get ending period your domain name will be send to sales. Before that try to renewal your domain name so that you can continue till the new period which you have been adding. Regards, Bharath

Hi Fayaz, You can buy a free domain in the website. If you having google account means you may receive alerts on the domain issues. In that many free domain names and sites will be published for free of cost. After seeing the informations you can directly approach and make those domains as yours for certain time period.
