How exactly Linux is termed as secured Operating System

Can anyone share the related information on Linux Operating System and how secured it is as compared to other Operating System.

Not related to the topic, but Linux is not an Operating System. Linux is only a kernel. Ubuntu, Fedora, Open Suse are the Operating Systems.

See today the function of an OS is not restricted to just coupling of software and hardware. Linux is an OS using the old definition of the OS. Now OS mean the whole package, GUI and all. And that's not what Linux is. It's an engine inside a car, not the car itself.
