How can we plot graphs in Linux (Ubuntu) for output of C programming in g++? I am doing programming in g++ compiler for C language and I need to plot the out put of programs which are related to my PhD work. How can I use inbuilt graph software that is available in Ubuntu? How do I install it?

You can use "gnuplot" which will use your output file of the source code you have written. Add your .dat file(which is the output file of your source code) to "gnuplot" and you can see the graph you required. You can use the following link which will help you to know more.

And you can also use octave software which is similar to matlab and is very useful tool to plot graphs.
