Dear friends,
Has anybody tried the much boasted Windows 8 Consumer Preview released by the Microsoft Corporation? The Microsoft Corporation has released the Windows 8 Consumer Preview edition on February 29, 2012. It is also known as the pre-release version of Microsoft Windows 8 version. It is also stated that Microsoft may release the Windows 8 Operating System during October 2012.
Please share your experiences, if you had downloaded and used the Windows 8 Consumer Preview.
Thanks in advance.
Regards -

There is some risks in the installation which has been declared on the official page of Windows 8 beta as well. Besides that, Windows 8 works fine, You will love to use if you get to use it on any tablet. Touch screen and metro style is simply superb. There are many new stuff, new login screen, new desktop look, new cursor impression if you are using touch, new task manager etc. I got the chance to install and to use it on my friend's tab so all I can say, It was amazing. Excited to taste the genuine version at the end of 2012.

The new windows 8 customer preview has a good an interesting interface but the method to access the features needs to be found by searching on internet. There are some bugs and software support for windows 8 at this stage is minimal.

Windows 8 CP Version have Lot of Significant Changes.
It have a different version of Windows Installer version 5
we need to look how it will install application
Folder Structure had changed from windows 7.
Program FIles(x86) removed.
So how it will handle 32 bit application is a question
there is a limit of installing application having long script-
-in some application.
There will be lot of bug the existing softwraes when u migrate
from win 7
when we migrating from XP we wont get programs/Windows settings
Even from VISTA allso.
