This thread is used to discuss about the topic 'What is CGI ? What is the use of it?'.
CGI stands for Common Gateway Interface. Can anyone say about this briefly. Discuss about this thread briefly.
What is the use of CGI and for what it is being used?
CGI defines how web server software can delegate the generation of web pages to a stand-alone application or an executable file. It is an agreement between HTTP server implementors about how to integrate such gateway scripts and programs.
