Hello Bharath
We can open any html file in the Internet Explorer. We can write any text file with HTML codes or program. Then rename the same file as html. Then open then file with Internet Explorer.

Hai,
I agree with Dinesh sir, and the both the term .htm and .html are the same extension. We can use any extension to run the html codes or program written on notepad. By default the extension of the internet file is .html only so when ever we assign any file with the extension it shows the same icon as our browser having.

Hi Dinesh and Jeevan,
Thank you very much for your kind support to this thread. As you said we can run the html using code written in the notepad and can we save it. Then that file would be save it as any of the extensions like .htm or .html. Then automatically the file will change to web symbol format.

Hi Aamir,
Thank you for your support to this thread. Basically all knows .html is the only extension of saving html file. But we have another format called .htm. It is also used in some cases of the html file.
