Dear members,
The "Keyword Based Resource Contest" is back in MWC again. This time the keyword is "New in HTML 5".
The title of the resources need not match the keywords exactly, but should be related to the topic mentioned.
The last date for submitting your entries to this contest is 30th November 2010. We will announce the winners within 15 days after the competition ends.
The words "HTML 5" should be mandatory there in the title of the resource.
Participants can post resource in any category under resources and should post a search engine friendly link as a response for this thread, marking their entry in this contest. This is mandatory to give link to your resource as a response to this thread without which, we will not count your resource for the contest.
The best 5 resources will be selected and each will receive an appreciation certificate from our Webmaster along with 100 points each to their MWC account.
All other valid resources participating in this contest will also receive good cash credits / points as well.
Some of the sample resource titles are:-
New features of HTML 5;
What is new in HTML 5?;
New browsers supporting HTML 5: etc. You can also post about individual new features of HTML 5.
The members who already submitted some resource on HTML 5 before this announcement can also participate in the contest and can follow the above instructions. But they can't edit and resubmit their old post as an entry to this contest. You have to submit the old post as it is.
Any members having doubt about how to participate in this contest and how to submit entries here as response, may post their problems in Forum of MyWindowsClub.com or as response in this thread.
N.B:- The winners will be selected by our webmasters. The decision of the webmaster in selecting the winners will be final and can't be changed in any situation after announcement of the winner and also can't be argued.
UPDATE:- Due to very less no. of participant we have postponed this contest. Members are requested to actively participate in the contests.

It is a nice contest once again in MWC. I would like to know whether we can post a number of resources on HTML 5 and give the links to these resources as a response to this thread for the contest, or is there a limit that we have to post only one resource for the contest? Please clarify on this. This is a good opportunity for all the members to show their skills. Wish you all the best.

There is no limit on the no. of resources you post. You can post any no. of resources. But you have to give links to every resource here.
We will only consider resources whose links are given as a response to this thread.

html 5 is the next major revision in the html category. html5 is supporting audio, video, attributes and article tagging. this not only the major revision but also going to remove the most dreadful threat and fallacy of internet that is plugins and flash player requirements. it will also help you to get the browsing stuffs like .pdf files, .doc files, .ppt files, audio streaming and video streaming on the browsers itself instantly.
now you don't have to install plugins for different extension to have a look on the contents.
i;e you don't require to have ms office, or acrobat reader, adobe reader or adobe flash player for viewing the browsing stuffs of internet.
browsers which are supporting this new development and technology are google chrome, Internet explorer 9, opera and mozilla firefox partially. older versions of ie don't support html5.
html5 is in research now and is open for all, yo too can edit there and give suggestions there. just mail them any suggestions related to html5 and its tags.
you can suggest new tags in html5. members of WHATWG- web hypertext application technology working group are mozilla adobe and apple and in recently w3c too have joined this html5 group in 2007. it is said that this html5 will be officially announced as a new revived technology in the year 2022.
so its high time for us to suggest some tags there at html5
