    Kbps or Mbps

Which is faster -- Which is faster -- Kbps or Mbps?

    Hi Friend

Kbps is Kilobytes per sec, (i.e kilo is 10 to the power of 3)
Mbps is Megabytes per sec, (i.e mega is 10 to the power of 6)

so there for Mbps is faster then the Kbps.

Kbps stands for Kilo bytes per second. That means your data transfer rate is 1000 bytes (1000*8 bits) per second.

Mbps stands for Mega bytes per second. That means data tranfer rate is 1000000 bytes per second.

So Mbps is 1000 times faster than Kbps.

The MBPS stands for Mega Bits per second and it more faster unit than KBPS whereas the KBPS stands for the Kilo Bytes per Second which is less unit than mega per second.

MBPS(Mega Bytes Per second) is faster than KBPS (Kilo Bytes Per Second). It is the data transfer rate from one device or another disk like if you copy a file from your CD to your hard disk then how fast the data is transferred to the computer.

Giga Bytes, Pent bytes are some many are there

Kbps is kilo byte per second.
mbps is mega byte per second.

Both shows the speed of your transfer of a file from one source to your computer.

    My internet speed is 12mbps.

    So, mbps is much faster.

    Best of luck
