Which ranking algorithm is used by Google?

Page Ranking??? or
Pigeon Ranking??? or
HillTop Algorithm??? or
Any other new algorithm???

Hello Dr. A.Vijaya,

Actually the ranking system of Google is quite different to understand with. Till date no one has been able to mark out the Ranking Algorithm of Google.

Yes basically they use the Page Ranking facility in order to rate your webpages or contents according to Search Engine Optimization. An individual should therefore look to develop the site more with considerable contents and able to optimize webpages according to search engines.

Page ranking is the algorithm that is used for ranking the pages based on the search word and the repetition of the search. It is a complex algorithm which is developed by Google Founders.

Now Krishna Bharat from California has identified some problem with PageRank algorithm and he started the Hilltop algorithm.

Thank you for your kind responses. I wanted to design a search engine. I am doing research for the past 5 years in this area. I would like to identify Google's ranking algorithm But I couldnt get clearly any information regarding Google's ranking algorithm. If anybody know, kindly let me know.

PR is very small factor of Google algorithm. I don't have much of experience but i can tell you few facts from here.
Google algorithm predicts:
1) Most important keywords which is present in any page of website.
2) The exact keyword means page os more important.
3) How many times those keywords repeated in any page.
4) PR of websites
5) Links to the websites and links to any page.
6) Age of website
7) related content
8) speed of hosting etc
