First Forum based contest of MWC: "Unlock the mystery." Now Closed

Dear Members,

Finally MWC has a new contest with a different aspect. Previously we have discussed about the "forum based contest" and it's live now! Thanks to all the members who gave their valuable suggestions in forming the rules for the forum based contest.

It is our first forum based contest ever. You all will find this contest new every time in future announcements too. We will try our best to keep it fresh and new. Our first forum based contest is named as "Unlock the mystery ".

In this particular contest, you have to identify a picture which is modified a bit. You have to identify the image and tell us about what this picture means. You have to tell us briefly(about 4-5 lines) about the thing the particular picture indicates / represents. You can find the picture here in this announcement as attachment below.

Hint: The picture may be related to Windows or other topics on Windows.

This contest will be active for 10 days, i.e, from 14th Oct 2010 to 24th Oct 2010. We will declare the winner on 25th Oct 2010.

The contest will run and winners will be selected according to the rules already defined. Please read rules for the forum based contest carefully before your participation.

This contest is being extended by another week i.e. till 30/10/2010

Update(2nd Nov 2010): This contest is now closed. We are sorry to inform you that no contestant has given the correct answer. The attached image is the logo of "Trend Micro", but many of the contestants have predicted it as Internet Explorer. So we have decided to start a fresh contest this month and ofcourse with a new logo which can be identified easily.

hello sir,

This image depicts that the computing will be carried out through out the world with the strong keyword searching tool that can even provide information of any kind to the whole world in a faster manner because the orbital in given symbol covers the prism which depicts that it has its roots all over the world.

According to me, this image consist of the logo Internet explorer and letter "e" is replaced by the prism which is for the prism cloud computing.

Thanks for this contest and this is my entry..

The whole world is connected with computer and there is always a threat for worms and hacking. There are always enemies behind a good movement and hence the wrong doers are after the computer and internet to block important datas. While computer is considered as the gift for the mankind the trojans and worms are always expected to give sleepness nights to the users.

Hi,

The images look like a Windows Logo and as well as Internet explorer. . The explorer E is replacing with a prism a beautiful triangle transparent object which will reflect the Rainbow colors. Also the prism symbol related to software which will split the application from browser and you can directly run from the Windows desktop

A very nice contest has been announced by you. I hope lot of members will participate in this contest and win the awards. Any way what is the award that you are giving for the winners? is that also a mystery. you have not announced what is the reward you will give for the winner of this contest.

Hi,

This symbol is similar to internet explorer logo. Only difference is the "Delta" symbol instead of "e". This may be the logo of the future explorer from windows. It may allow secure and powerful browsing all over the world. Waiting for the new featured browser from windows.

Hi,

This contest saw a see-saw effect before ending while many of them predicted that it belongs to Internet Explorer and it turned out to be Trend Micro. Anyway, this contest has aroused much enthusiasm among members and hope it continues in the coming months also.
