I would like to give some suggestion on this topic. Hope these suggestion will help you. The suggestions are as follows:-
1) Points earned from those section which are not official declared by MWC should be deducted.
2) Points earned from false referrals should also be deducted.
3) Points earned from posting polls & voting should also be deducted because there is no such limitation to post polls. Now suppose if 10 members posted 10 polls. Then any user can earn easy points.
I thinks these are sufficient. Hope these rules will help you a lot.

I also would like to suggest some points here.
1. Many members are posting lot of products and earning more points in products rather than in posting resources and articles related to Windows operating system. You can give more weightage to the resources posted related to Windows operating system rather than the products.
2. MyWindowsClub is a website related to Windows operating system. So I suggest that you consider resources related to Windows operating system rather than some general topics. Some members might have earned lot of points just by posting products and very very less articles / resources related to Windows operating system..
3. You should not consider the points earned by posting polls, or participating in polls etc. But the points earned by participating in forums ( answering forum threads) must be considered.
Hence I suggest the web masters to consider resources and forum participation alone for selecting the First Diamond member. This is only a suggestion. The final decision can be taken by the web master.

Thanks for giving such an important suggestions for the Diamond Award. Some points which i like to suggest.
Points earned by posting products should be considered reason is that all the products are related to Windows. I don't think that posts which are not related to windows are considered. All those posts which are not related to windows are deleted and are not considered in this website. All the posts which are related to windows are considered by all the webmasters and all the editors. If I am not wrong.

Hi,
I totally agree with Raghav, Some of the users are mainly concentrating on the Products and its images, polls, referrals.
My suggestion is MWC should not consider the Polls, Referrals, Poll Answers, Gifts, Awards and Prize credits.
Forums Questions and Answers, Resources section is more important than products. Products images should not be considered at all.
As it is technical forums it should require more articles related to Windows.

Since this is a technical site, all aspects must be taken into account on how a member rached diamond level and award for the same.
The default points are given more in initial stage of posting itself and that must be avoided.

The forum section,resource section and the product section points should be taken in consideration while selecting the diamond member,as the all the section provides the latest updates and the happenings to the users and the members related to the recent release that took place in market.

Hi;
This is what tony sir wrote while announcing the awards
We are offering a special award for our members who reach Diamond level first. The first 5 members who reach diamond level will win great prizes.
1st Prize: High Definition (HD) camcoder - The member who reach Diamond level first will win the grand prize.
2nd Prize: Digital camera
3rd Prize: Electronic gadgets (3 winners)
The levels are calculated automatically purely based on the points earned by contributing content and various other activities.
Note the word other activities and also that levels are calculated automatically.
Now as he said and as the name of the award suggests it is first diamond awards.This means first five diamond members should get the award.
Now coming to which section should be considered and which shoul be not.
1.First thing is that the points scored in un annanounced sections should not be considered at all.
2.Secondly it is not correct not to count points from product section as this is first diamond award and not first diamond from resource awards.
3.Webmasters may not consider points by fake refferals too.
4.I will suggest it to let the rules remain simple so that everyone is satisfied with it otherwise it will cause controversies.

I am agree with Krishna Verma and also like to thanks him for posting such an important information. Its true that this diamond award is the FIRST DIAMOND MEMBER OF THIS WEBSITE NOT FOR FIRST DIAMOND MEMBER FROM RESOURCE.
1) This Website is the entirely for the Windows.
2) All the sections contains the information related to windows. By the way posts not related to windows are not accepted.
3) Points earned from resource section, products section, forum section, bookmarks section, paid links section, videos section, product section, review section contains all the information about the windows.
4) Points earned from bogus referrals should not be considered at all.
5) Points earned from those section which are not announced in this website should be deducted.
These are some simple rules which are genuine. Hope everyone would satisfied by these simple rules.

Hi All,
Nice suggestions. I would like to add something from my side too.
Rather than considering the person based on the quantity of the posts it would be great if members are judged based on the quality of the posts and member should have been active in almost all the sections not concentrating on a single section.
