When I restarted my Android tablet, I am getting this error message:

Unfortunately, the process has stopped

Any idea why is this happening? The only option I have is to press the OK button. Why is this error happening?

I don't know much about this trouble, but I have a solution for you. Generally some errors like these get vanished after resetting your device. After resetting your device resembles a fresh set. This process won't affect your installed apps. All those apps remains as such. There will be no data loss too.

Dear member, please follow these steps to resolve your problem. As this problem occurs on Android devices you can also go for a reset. Another method is go to your 'settings' and the 'application manager'. Ok, then go to 'all tab'. Scroll up to the bottom where you can find 'download manager' option. If this is disabled please 'enable' it. This operation worked for my friend's Android device so, you too can try this.

This problem can only be fixed if you do Factory reset in your Android system. I had also the same problem earlier and I did factory reset. Now it is working well. Another important point you should note here that after resetting, you can not have any Anti-virus programs in your system. Such problems mostly arise only due to Anti-virus installed in it. So don't install again such programs. Antivirus is not that suitable for Android system. For windows based system, you should use Antivirus programs. Hope this will help you.

Go to Settings>Apps>ALL and open menu>Reset app preferences. Reboot your smartphone or tablet.

Yes, as above stated by the expert, you can try by clicking on Settings-> Application Manager-> All tab-> Scroll up to the bottom and find-> Download Manager-> Enable it in case it is "Disabled". Now restart the Tab PC and check it.
