Hyundai Creta SUV car specification and price

As per latest news, Hyundai has released Creta SUV car recently. I would like to know the technical specification of Creta. What are the main features in Creta? What is the expected mileage? How many variants are there? What is the on-road price? Kindly assist on this.

The Hyundai Creta has turned out to be one of the most on demand SUV that wears a sporty look and premium Features. It has proved itself a powerful vehicle with an array of options for power-training. It has its own range of competitors that are available in the row with similar price range and SUV features. They are The Mahindra Scorpio, Nissan Terrano and Renault Duster.

Coming to its features and specifications.

The Exterior
Hyundai's Creta is a five-seater SUV launched in 2015 based on the Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 model, and is more sophisticated than its predecessor. You get to see a big-sized front grille that has multiple chrome slats horizontally placed. The headlamps have got a LED strip included in them. The colour options that are available with Creta are: Red Passion, Sleek Silver, Phantom Black, Mystic Blue, Stardust, and Pearl Beige.

There are roof rails on the sides, a black rocker area and also a 17-inch diamond shape cut in the alloy wheels. There is another variant of the Creta available that comes with a 16-inch wheels.

The Interior

The Hyundai Creta's interiors have got a good number of classic features like a keyless entry, a push start and stop option, bluetooth connectivity, an in-dash music system, satellite navigation, mounted steering, reverse parking camera, audio controls, leather pack, supervision cluster, driver information system, power windows, rear AC vents and follow me home headlamps.

The Engine
The Creta comes with a 1.6-litre petrol engine that can produce a 121bhp of power at 6400rpm. The maximum torque of this SUV is 151Nm at 4850rpm.

They have offered two diesel engine options. The first one comes with a 1.4-litre U2 CRDi that generates about a 90bhp of power at 4000rpm. The maximum torque is of 220Nm at 1500rpm. The other one is the 1.6-litre one that generates about 126bhp of power at 4000rpm. The maximum torque of this engine is 259Nm at 1900-2750rpm.

The Transmission
The three types of engines come together to a six-speed of manual transmission. The 1.6-litre diesel model also has the option of a six-speed automatic transmission.

Use and Performance

The 1.6-litre Creta comes with a 121bhp which stands as one of the most powerful ones and has got an ease of drive. The diesel engine has got a decent torque making it a high-demand vehicle. With sufficient power productive ability, the handling of this SUV model gets easier and simple.

The Brake

The Hyundai Creta has an ABS with EBD which are two of its standard features. The vehicle has disc brakes placed at the front, and for its rear it has drum brakes. The Creta has other features like an ESP and hip start assist control which in Hyundai's language is called as Vehicle Stability management.

Mileage

This 1396 cc Diesel SUV model is powered by a series of fuel economy options. It gives 22 kmpl in cities and 24 kmpl on highways. The Petrol variant gives a mileage of 16 kmpl on the city driveways and 18 kmpl in freeways.

Safety Measures

Coming with an ABS and EBD, the Hyundai Creta can definitely be called as a vehicle with standard safety features. You get multiple airbags, vehicle stability control, a hill descent option and an ESP in it. Within the mid-level variants there are reverse parking seniors and in the higher models you get the camera.
