Honor- a sub brand of Huawei is launching the Honor Holly 2 Plus on 28th January in India.
Honor Holly 2 Plus is a basic smartphone that will have a polycarbonate body. It is expected to have not many special features. It will not have finger print scanner or any such high end features.
Rumoured to be sporting a 5 inch IPS HD display, it will feature a 1280x720 resolution. The dispaly has a pixel density of 293 ppi. The phone is expected to be powered by a quad core processor. The processor is believed to be 64 bit compatible. The clock speed of the processor will be 1.3 GHz. It is not yet confirmed whether the device will use HuaweI's own processor or opt for a Snapdragon one. If it uses a Snapdragon processor, you may expect Snapdragon 410.
As for other hardware specifications, Holly 2 Plus will showcase 2 GB of onboard RAM which is quite acceptable for effective multitasking. You will get 16 GB of internal storage. The phone supports memory expansion by means of microSD card upto 128 GB.
The new Huawei device will sport a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front snapper. Further details on the camera are still under wraps. It will offer dual SIM functionality with support for 4G.
Honor Holly 2 Plus will run on Android Lollipop with customisation by Emotion UI.
The best feature of the smartphone is its huge battery capacity. It packs in 4000 mAh battery which should provide literally huge backup.
No details are yet been released as far as the pricing is concerned. Going by the current price standards and the somewhat low end features of the device, we can expect it to be priced at around Rs. 7000.
No details have been made available about the availability of the device. As such, it would be too early to predict the best deals for the Holly 2 Plus. We may need to wait till January 28 to see if the device launches on the day.
