Possible problems buying Xiaomi MI 4C in India from an international site

Would there be any problem which I would face after buying Xiaomi MI 4C in india from any international site (for e.x like network or phone service? Or could you tell me when would MI 4C be launching in India because some of the sites are saying this phone is not releasing in India.

I really want to buy this phone.

As a matter of fact, phones available for a particular market are designed from the software point of view accordingly. It may not be a good idea to buy a phone which is not meant for India.

In case of you are confident of any tweaks for unlocking the phone from region specification, you may consider buying from those sites.
The phone may or may not support the Indian bands. Please confirm whether the phone can use Indian SIM cards.

Other than the functionality issues, you may also face issues related to after sales service.
The device being from another country, you may not get warranty for the device.
Sadly enough, the Xiaomi Mi 4C is not likely to be launched in India.

As you are importing a smartphone from international website then there can be many possible outcomes from which most of them are listed below.
1. You will get firmware based on that country which may have issues while using it in India.
2. Warranty issues - If you damage your smartphone then there are chances that you will not be able to get it treated in nearest customer care centers because they don't know much about that smartphone.
3. Your smartphone may or may not support India's Band which will disable you from using Indian SIM cards.

Apart from all these are many other issues which will occur and cause you to stop using smartphone. While importing smartphone you will also have to pay a little amount of tax which will cause a rise in the MRP of that smartphone.
