Google Nexus 5X seems to have heating issues at the point where finger print scanner sits. This could have more to do with the fact that the the scanner is placed exactly where the RAM, CPU and power management IC is positioned.
However, please note that if you are restoring the phone from cloud and setting it up, it can heat up a bit. Under normal circumstances, no heat problems have been reported.

Google Nexus 5X is latest release from Google and it comes with latest hardware specifications. Google Nexus 5X comes with fingerprint sensor at the back of the smartphone. But as per users review while using fingerprint sensor simultaneously you will start feeling heat over there. Apart from that it also heats up while using it for longer period with resource hungry programs. Over normal usage Nexus 5X doesn't shows any heating issues.
